Around a year ago Google launched its new version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.x) and few months back it launched Android Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.x – 4.2.x). Google has fixed many glitches from its earlier Android version but still there are many more glitches that the users of these Android versions are facing.

Problems of Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich

  • Unable to Transfer Applications to External SD Card

Android-SD-Card

This is the Main disadvantage of Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean (ie Android 4.0.x – 4.2.x). In these version of Android, Google has Updated the storage option and Dedicated a part of  Internal Memory named as Internal SD Card (or NAND Flash in some devices). This was done because in earlier version of  Android the user have to Insert an External SD card to use basic feature of the device like Camera, etc. Google has very well removed this glitch in Android 4.0.x – 4.2.x but the new problem is that the user cannot move their application to External SD Card so there is Limited Memory for applications in these versions of Android, The External SD can only be used for Media Storage. Google is working on this and might do something about it in its next Update

  • Missing December in Jelly Bean

In the Update 4.2.0 the user observed that December was missing from their calender but Google Updated that in its Update to 4.2.1.
